Shipping & Returns

SHIPPING POLICY
We stock the majority of what is listed on our site. In the event that product that is purchased is out of stock in our store, and the order is placed before 11:30 am, we will have it in-stock and ready for shipment the next business day. We normally ship all orders on the same day or within 24 - 48 hours after the order is placed (except US holidays, Saturday and Sunday. Orders placed on those days will be shipped the following business day). If your orders are qualified for Free Shipping (within US only), your order will be delivered within 2 - 7 business days.
We reserve the right to select the shipping method that fits the budget for Free Shipping. Most orders that are qualified for Free Shipping will be shipped via Priority Mail for small items or UPS Ground for larger items. You will receive an email notification to the e-mail address we have on file,  when your order is ready to be picked up or is shipped.  SRI Hobbies will not be responsible for any lost or stolen packages left at your door from USPS, UPS, or FedEx. If you do not feel comfortable having shipping carriers leave your package at your door, you must contact us or leave an order comment and request for a signature confirmation (extra fee's may apply). We will gladly add this option for you when shipping your package.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Contact us for an international shipping quote before ordering WE WILL NOT SHIP TO WAR TORN COUNTRIES OR COUNTRIES WE ARE AT WAR WITH !
In the event that a US Serviceman would like to place an order and have it shipped to his/her post, we will ship to a US Base only!

We ship orders worldwide via United States Postal Services, UPS, and FED-EX . Free shipping only applies to an address located in the continental US. Only USPS Global Express Mail shipping method has a tracking number. We recommend this method of shipping for international shipping to ensure your order reaches you fast and safely, especially for orders over $200 USD. For other shipping methods (Global Airmail or Global Priority), since there is no tracking number available, please be patient if you haven't received your package as of the expected date. Most package delivery delays are caused by "Customs Services" in your country for any number of reasons. All non delivered package claims cannot be honored until 45 days after the actual ship date of your order.


RETURNING MERCHANDISE
We will accept merchandise for return that was purchased from us within 7 business days from receiving your order, and at your own expense. Original shipping charge and return shipping cost are Non-Refundable. The returned merchandise must be new, in its original packaging, and re-sellable. A 15% restock charge will be applied on these returned items. No return will be accepted after 7 business days from the original date. Please contact us and request for a RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION (RMA) number before sending merchandise back. NO RETURNS WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT A RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION NUMBER. All RMA numbers must appear on the outside box.

DEFECTIVE/DAMAGED RETURNS
Defective products will be approved for return and can be replaced or credited by the manufacturer/distributor according to their warranty policies. Some of our manufacturers require the customer to contact and send the product directly to the manufacturers for repair or replacement. Please contact Support or use the Live Help System to receive directions for your return.
All returned merchandise will to go through inspection and exchange processing which normally takes up to 48 hours. Once your returns are approved and accepted, we will issue you a store credit or refund back to your credit card. If the defective product is deemed "Unauthorized Modification" by our staff, your product will be returned to you without refund or exchange and at your expense. Our staff will contact you with our decision and notify you of return shipping charges. Items returned and not claimed after 30 days will be disposed of at our discretion. Do to the nature of Lithium Batteries and "Uncontrollable methods of charging/ discharging", refunds or exchanges will not be given for open packages! Please inspect the battery visually before removing it from the packaging as we cannot return opened batteries to our suppliers! Should you find a defect with your lithium battery, we will contact the Distributor/ Manufacturer for replacement instructions.
DO NOT SHIP DAMAGED LITHIUM BATTERIES UNLESS INSTRUCTED TO DO SO!!! Damaged lithium batteries pose a grave fire risk, store them in a fire proof metal container until you receive your instructions!
